Hello, I’m Dr. Lauren.
I help Black women clarify their goals, finish degrees, and build purposeful careers.
My Approach
At Grow with Dr. Lauren, I don’t offer generic advice—I deliver transformational guidance rooted in research, lived experience, and results.
With a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, an M.S. in Management and Leadership, and an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction, my approach is a fusion of evidence-based strategy and real-world application. I’ve been a classroom teacher, a preservice teacher educator, a published scholar, a speaker, and a student success advisor guiding hundreds of learners from uncertainty to clarity. I understand what it takes to design a path—not just walk one.
And I don’t believe in cookie-cutter solutions.
My work is grounded in the forthcoming PATH Framework—a unique model I developed to help women move from feeling stuck or misaligned to leading with purpose, clarity, and confidence. Whether you’re at the beginning of your journey or in the messy middle, I help you reconnect with your story, identify strategic next steps, and take bold action.
My approach is shaped by my experience as:
A former PK–12 teacher who understands the classroom from the inside out
A doctoral educator who’s helped students navigate the rigor of academic systems
A UX researcher who deeply understands the client and learner experience
A first-generation Black woman who has turned obstacles into opportunity
I bring that full spectrum of insight to every session, toolkit, and workshop.

I believe it should feel liberating.

I believe that women—especially Black women—deserve to move through life and career with intentionality, not confusion. My brand provides the frameworks, strategies, and reflection tools that replace uncertainty with direction.
